Experience the magic of the Salisbury Big Band live at their upcoming performance at the Army Flying Museum at 7pm on Saturday 29th March.

Celebrating over 20 years in 2025, The 19-strong Salisbury Big Band prides itself on the versatility of its performance. Originally rooted in Swing, but also comfortable performing new, original and contemporary material to hundreds of happy jazz-goers.

​​The band's niche is in the performance of programmes drawing influence from a huge range of composers, arrangers and musicians from across the world. The scope of style and technique is huge and Salisbury Big Band work tirelessly to achieve brilliant standards and engaging performances.

From "soft and sultry" to "get on your feet and dance!" they play it all! The concert will feature vocalist, Jayne Deer who performs with the band to enthral audiences with her classic versions of Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darrin and Ella Fitzgerald.

This year is the 80th Anniversary of VE Day, so they will be sure to put a swing in your step with music from the early 1920's to the Swing era; from Glenn Miller to the Beatles; Vera Lynn to Van Morrison; Frank Sinatra to Michael Bublé!
