For those who couldn't get to the previous 2 sell out sessions, join Textile Artist Jess Way, for an introduction to Sashiko embroidery, where participants will immerse themselves in the traditional Japanese art of decorative stitching, creating beautifully intricate patterns on fabric. The group will learn the fundamentals of Sashiko, including the history, techniques, and cultural significance of this ancient craft. Throughout the hands-on session, each participant will practice various stitching methods. You're encouraged to bring along any holey jeans or clothes you might want to personalise!
