We are delighted to introduce This is My Theatre, who will be bringing 'Five Children & It' by E. Nesbit to an Open-Air Theatre production at Bowood House & Gardens.

Based on the classic children's novel by Edith Nesbit – with live music and puppetry throughout – children and adults alike will love this ever-popular story reimagined for the stage.

The five children – Cyril, Anthea, Robert, Jane, and their baby brother, known as the Lamb – are playing in a gravel pit one morning when they uncover a rather grumpy and sometimes tricky Psammead, a sand-fairy with the ability to grant wishes. Join them on their adventures as they learn what it is to be careful what you wish for!

Join This is My Theatre, pack a picnic, grab a chair and dress for the weather.
Show starts at 18:30 including a 15-20 minute interval and should finish approx. 20:30.
Gates open from 17:45. Please do not arrive before this as the team will still be preparing the performance area. Please arrive no later than 15 minutes before the performance is due to start.
