About
In this month's fundraiser event for Dorothy House Hospice, we will be celebrating what would have been the 100th birthday of a musician, composer and artist, Miles Davis, born 26th May 1926.
We will be joined by local award winning musician, Rob Brian to discuss the life and music of Miles Davis, and his impact and influence on both musicians and fans.
We will play a variety of music across the many styles and phases of Miles' career with recordings from his first session in 1945 to his final studio recording in 1991.
We will also have a fundraiser raffle on the night to add more fun to the proceedings!
It will be another great evening for everyone whether you are already familiar with Miles' music or don't really know him at all. As usual all are welcome to this event, which is FREE to attend, but voluntary donations to the work of Dorothy House Hospice are of course very much appreciated.
