An unforgettable evening of stories, conversation and audience Q&A comes to Marlborough this summer in support of The Merchant's House.

We are excited to be welcoming award-winning actors Jim Carter and Imelda Staunton who will appear together for a special live event at Marlborough Town Hall on Friday 3 July at 7.30pm.

The evening provides a rare opportunity to hear two of Britain's most celebrated performers discuss their remarkable careers across stage, television and film, sharing behind-the-scenes stories, personal reflections and insights from decades in the entertainment industry.

Jim Carter is widely recognised for his role as the much-loved Carson in Downton Abbey, while Imelda Staunton's acclaimed career has included performances in The Crown, Harry Potter, Vera Drake and numerous award-winning stage productions.

This is a unique opportunity for theatre lovers, television fans and film audiences alike, and all proceeds raised will go towards the continued restoration of The Merchant's House.
