Be a Chorister for a Day

Join us for our free annual "Be a Chorister for a Day" taster afternoon. This is an exciting opportunity for girls and boys in Years 2, 3 or 4 to step into the shoes of a chorister and experience life at Salisbury Cathedral and the Cathedral School.

Children will rehearse and sing with our current choristers, explore their daily routines, and learn about the recordings, broadcasts, and tours they take part in.

Parents and guardians are warmly invited too. While the children are rehearsing, you'll hear what life is like as a chorister parent, find out about the financial support available, and have the chance to ask questions.

The afternoon concludes with a special Evensong, led by the Cathedral's Director of Music, David Halls, performed by all visiting children together with the Cathedral choristers.
