Blacksmith's Forge-In, 'have a go' & Market Stand

Come along and join the Wessex Guild of Blacksmiths on our farm in Salisbury, Wiltshire! Come and have a go at being a Blacksmith, adults and children are both welcome to come and have a go, under the guidance of a professional blacksmiths and make something to take home, as a memory from your special day. Sessions available for just £10 and can be booked on the day with the Blacksmiths directly. You can also check out the Blacksmiths Market, where you can find a little treasure for yourself of a unique present for someone else!

This event is open to all Guild Members, their partners, memorail screen in-fill makers and invited guests. Forging will take place throughout the weekend and our AGM during the morning of Sunday 3rd October.

The forge-in provides the opportunity to demonstrate skills and inform visitors of the 'Ways of the Smith'. Visitors will be provided with the opportunity of trying their hand at Blacksmithing under the guidance of a Master Blacksmith.
