Chippenham Laughter Lab is back for 2027 – and we're kicking off the new season with one of the defining comedy faces of the Mock the Week era.

Andy Parsons spent more than a decade as a regular on Mock the Week, becoming instantly recognisable to millions for his unmistakable delivery, razor-sharp observations and brilliantly quick takes on the world around him. His television career also includes Live at the Apollo, Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow and The Stand Up Show, alongside years spent headlining theatres across the UK with his own national tours.

Smart, energetic and hugely accomplished, Andy is a genuine heavyweight of British stand-up – and a fantastic way to begin another year of bringing major comedy names to Chippenham.

Hosting the evening is Tom Glover, a hugely popular comedian and one of the South West's standout comedy MCs. Renowned for his lightning-fast crowd work, quick-fire improvisation and effortless ability to turn audience interaction into huge laughs, Tom makes sure the entertainment starts long before the headline set.

They'll be joined by more outstanding professional comedians, to be announced soon, completing a full mixed-bill comedy night featuring some of the very best talent from the UK circuit.

After launching Chippenham Laughter Lab in 2026, we're incredibly excited to be back with more household names, TV favourites and standout comedians throughout 2027 – and this is one hell of a way to get things started.
