Bluestone Vineyards is our 10-acre on-site boutique vineyard on the McConnell family farm in Wiltshire, which is run by the brother duo, Toby and Nat McConnell. Currently Bluestone is planted to Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grape vines to produce high quality grapes destined for limited release English Sparkling Wines. Our aim is to produce one-of-a-kind, premium wines that you would be proud to share with your friends and family.
Explore our vineyards, farm and woodlands and sample our award-winning sparkling wine, with a selection of tours & tastings to suit you. After your tour, come into our new cellar door, where you can taste a range of award winning wines; from our limited edition Classic Cuvée to still wines made by other talented grape-growers and winemakers; why not make more of your visit by indulging in a lunch platter, which has been put together using exquisite local produce.
Self-guided Tour:
Available every Saturday & Sunday, book your chosen date and arrive any time between 10am and 4pm. In your own time, take a leisurely stroll through the vineyards using your illustrated map to discover the wonders of our beautiful farm and vineyards. After your tour, why not join us at the Bluestone cellar door and enjoy a glass of our Bluestone Classic Cuvée or a locally produced still wine. Pair with a charcuterie board, choosing from an incredible selection of meats & cheeses all made from producers rearing pasture grazed heards in Wiltshire. It's all good wholesome stuff – £10pp​
Signature Tour:
Book in advance, tour duration: 1 hour 30 mins. Join Nat for a walk around the vineyard for an informal and informative point of view from the grape grower and wine producer. You will learn all about growing wine grapes in our challenging climate and what it takes to produce high quality fruit to make world class sparkling wines with great age-ability. You will then enjoy a tasting platter of local cheese and charcuterie with other nibbles accompanied by a tutored tasting of 4 wines. 3 still wines from local Wiltshire producers, a red, a white and a rose and our limited edition sparkling Classic Cuvée – £28pp
Private Tour:
Book in advance, tour duration: 2 hours 30 mins (minimum of 10 people). Enjoy a glass of wine on arrival followed by a guided tour through our vineyards, then come inside to talk through winemaking and tutored tasting of 6 wines. The private tour is designed to be easily tailored to your groups individual requirements – £40pp
