New Sarum Singers Music for Holy Week

The New Sarum Singers will be performing excerpts from Stainer's The Crucifixion and Handel's Messiah along with other works that dramatize the events in Jesus Christ's life from Palm Sunday and the week leading up to his triumph over death on the cross at Calvary. The programme contains some beautiful hymns which the audience are encouraged to join in with. Under the leadership of the choir's musical director, Lewis Edney, supported by a guest soloist, organist Ian Hardy and the choir's piano accompanist Mary Douglas, this will be an uplifting musical experience for the whole family.
