Interested in photography? Want to find out about the Chippenham Museum photo club? Join members for one of their free taster sessions over the summer.
Monday 5 August, Ages 8-10
2pm – 2.45pm
Free, booking essential via Eventbrite
Take part in a photography challenge, hunting around the Museum for the best objects to photograph using different composition techniques. All cameras are welcome, including mobile phones. Suitable for ages 8-10 years old. Don't have a camera? Don't worry we have one you can borrow for the session.
Monday 19 August, Ages 11-17
2pm – 2.45pm
Free, booking essential via Eventbrite
Join us as we handle and photograph a collection of Museum objects. Learn about their history and how to photograph them. You will get a chance to use a lightbox and work with lighting. All cameras are welcome, including mobile phones. Suitable for ages 11-17 years old. Don't have a camera? Don't worry we have one you can borrow for the session.
Chippenham Museum Photo Club, Wednesdays, 4.45pm – 5.30pm
£3 per session, Suitable for ages 11 – 17
Chippenham Museum Photo Club is open to new members. Come along, learn new skills, have fun, and get creative! This after school club runs photography projects for young people to learn new skills and be creative. The club aims to improve self-expression and motivation, focusing on activities to help mental health and wellbeing while capturing great images and having fun.
We are also starting a new junior group for ages 8-10. Wednesday's during term time, 4pm – 4.45pm, £3 per session.
