This Grade II listed building and former hospital is now a thriving community centre at the heart of the Railway Village. Join us at the Community Centre for a Heritage Festival, where you can:
• Join us for a cream tea (limited space – booking required)
• Browse the stalls – with local history, food and health-related activities.
• Find out more about progress on the Mechanics Institution and the Cricketers and opportunities to get involved either as a member, volunteer or as part of one of our fundraising projects.
• Get a taste of Swindon's food history and pick up some produce from our community allotment.
• Meet Heritage Action Zone members and find out about their work in the heart of the village.
• Take a stroll down to the nearby GWR Park.
