A firm favourite every summer, the Ramsbury Estate Experience is back for another season in 2027.

If you're seeking a one-of-a-kind adventure in one of the country's most scenic locations, you're in the right place. The Ramsbury Experience takes you off-road on an unforgettable tour of the Ramsbury Estate, offering breathtaking views across the North Wessex Downs, alongside an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of our brewery and distillery.
About the Tour
rrive at the Bell in Ramsbury from 8am for complimentary coffee & pastries in the cafe while you choose from the two course set estate lunch what you will be eating at the end of your tour. We ask that you arrive no later than 9am to enjoy complimentary tea, coffee and pastries.

If you wish to have a full cooked breakfast to start the day, please note that we advise you to arrive from 8:00 to order and enjoy it. Please be aware that the breakfast is not included in the experience and will need to be paid for separately.

The tour departs The Bell at 9:30am

You will begin the day with a warm welcome at our 300-year old coaching inn, The Bell at Ramsbury, where you will be picked up by our tour guide and off-road lorry for a 'countryside safari' tour of the Ramsbury estate. This is your exclusive access to the Ramsbury Estates, your journey takes you off road and through the beautiful Wiltshire downs and woodland. See where the abundance of wildlife makes the estate its home. When you reach our brewery & distillery you will be able to enjoy plenty of tastings of our finest craft ales and spirits whilst you see how we produce our award-winning products, before returning to The Bell for lunch.

Additional places for lunch can be purchased at £35pp in advance from the set menu for additional persons who may be collecting those who have been on the tour. Please contact The Bell to book any additional lunch spaces.

A quick note before your tour
During your Brewery & Distillery Tour, you'll be visiting working production areas, so we ask that all guests wear closed-toe shoes with a low heel and non-slip sole for their safety.

As these are active food and drink production areas, we also kindly ask that jewellery and perfume are kept to a minimum.

In addition, you will be asked to complete a Health Questionnaire, which you will receive on arrival to the brewery and distillery to complete.

Please do not attend the tour if you are suffering from any Nausea, Sickness or Diarrhoea or have had those symptoms in the preceding 48 hours

On Saturday morning, you can also join us at Ramsbury Gin School, where you'll create your very own grain-to-glass gin to take home — the perfect addition to your weekend. Our Gin School is a separate experience and must be booked separately. We recommend booking in advance, as sessions are popular and often fill up quickly.
