T-Shirt Bag Activity

Take part in a simple no-sew activity where you'll learn a fun way to give an old T-shirt a new life. We'll have some materials for use on the day, but to make the most of the activity bring along your own pre-loved t-shirt from home. Suitable for ages 4+, under 10s must be accompanied by an adult.
Visible Mending Workshop

Learn how to repair your clothes with a professional seamstress. You'll be taught basic hand stitches, how to sew a patch, and ways to creatively embellish old clothing to give it a new lease of life. All materials and equipment will be provided. Suitable for ages 13–17.
Sewing Machine Workshop

Got a sewing machine and want to start making or repairing clothes but not sure where to begin? Join our beginner-friendly workshop with a professional seamstress to learn how to use your machine, troubleshoot common issues, and build confidence. You'll practice basic techniques while making a drawstring bag to take home. Please bring your own sewing machine, a few bobbins, and any sewing kit you have. Fabric will be provided. Suitable for ages 18+.
