The Dove Inn, near Warminster

The Woodbridge Inn is a traditional Wiltshire coaching inn which dates back to 1786. A delightful mix of old and new, it is set in acres of countryside with a pretty river running through the bottom of the garden. The Woodbridge's Sunday carveries are incredibly popular, featuring a wide choice of meats alongside all the trimmings, as well as vegan and gluten-free options.

Located in Royal Wootton Bassett in the north of the county of Wiltshire, the Angel Hotel Restaurant sits in a gorgeous Grade II listed building and offers unpretentious and delicious food and drink options. The menu changes weekly but you can be sure of a choice of roast dinners on a Sunday! The Sunday lunch at the Angel is always popular, so book in advance to avoid disappointment. 

Old Ale and Coffee House, Salisbury
At Salisbury's Old Ale and Coffee House, you'll find a modern interpretation of a traditional ale house in the heart of the city. This is a cosy and quirky space with a great selection of drinks and an extensive menu. Sunday lunch at the Old Ale and Coffee House is not just about the roasts (although of course there are a selection of delicious roasts available!) - you can also indulge in their all-day brunch menu. Yum!

Woolley Grange Hotel, Bradford On Avon
Located just outside Bradford on Avon on the edge of the cotswolds, Woolley Grange Hotel is a stunning Jacobean manor house. Their Sunday lunch menu is a relaxed affair with a constantly-updated menu featuring fresh ingredients from the kitchen gardens. There is also a tasty children's menu on offer. 

The Swan at Stoford, near Salisbury
Located between the cathedral city of Salisbury and historic Stonehenge, the Swan at Stoford is an 18th Century Inn with a pretty riverside location. Their Sunday carvery is the perfect addition to a day out sightseeing at Stonehenge or Salisbury.
