About

Carvers Hill Estate is a family-owned vineyard and winery near Marlborough in Wiltshire, nestled in the rolling hills of the North Wessex Downs National Landscape.

Planted in the spring of 2021, the estate occupies 14 acres along a single, sheltered, south-facing valley in Shalbourne. Once a wild-flower seed farm, the land is now home to 21,000 vines of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay.

Our inaugural 2024 Vintage was hand-harvested and released as a limited run of beautifully pale, refreshing still Rosé—the very first expression of our estate’s unique terroir. We are proud that this debut vintage was awarded Silver at the Wine GB Awards, an exciting achievement for a young vineyard at the start of its journey.
 
With a focus on minimal-intervention practices, future vintages will expand to include still reds and further Rosé production. All winemaking is carried out on-site in Wiltshire’s first state-of-the-art winery, designed to highlight precision, sustainability and craftsmanship.

From Summer 2025, Carvers Hill Estate began welcoming guests for vineyard and winery tours, alongside a growing calendar of cultural events. Visitors can enjoy tastings, explore the surrounding landscape and experience the winemaking journey from grape to glass.

The estate also features a Club Room for members and private gatherings, as well as a retail shop adjoining the winery and cellar. Membership provides access to exclusive events, early releases and a deeper connection with the estate and its wines.

Nestled on the edge of the vines and embraced by surrounding woodland within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, our beautifully crafted countryside cabins offer an immersive vineyard retreat. Designed with both comfort and sustainability in mind, each cabin features a plush king-size bed, sleek shower room, fully equipped kitchen, and a cozy wood burner, all framed by breathtaking views of the valley.

Each private cabin offers a firepit beneath the stars—perfect for romantic getaways or peaceful escapes in nature.
