Festive Lino Printing at Wildling Studio Calne

Join us at Wildling Studio as the cold weather settles in and we turn our thoughts to the festivities awaiting us. Take a moment in the calm of the studio surrounded by fellow Wildlings to learn a new skill or finetune an existing one as we create festive linocut stamps to print onto handmade Christmas cards.
Spend a morning with Hannah Cantellow as she introduces us to the tools needed and guides us through the process of designing and carving an image from our lino block. Feel safe in the knowledge that this workshop is suitable for all - starting with complete beginners. Hannah will spend time introducing us to her craft and support us in the delivery of our own unique creations to be used in years to come.
Once created we will use our stamps to design and make our own bespoke handmade Christmas cards using khadi rag cards (handmade in India from 100% recycled cotton t-shirt cuttings) using eco friendly printing inks and lino made from cork and linseed (compostable and biodegradable). We will of course pause for a warm drink and delicious festive treats as is customary at the studio!
