Various events throughout Malmesbury including a talk by Dr Chris Scott about 'Wiltshire and Malmesbury in the English Civil War on Friday evening. On both days over the weekend, visit the Civil War military camp in Cloister Gardens experiencing the life of a solider including sword skills, food preparations, cooking, scribing, dyeing,C17th music and dancing and visit the tavern. On Saturday, the Birds Eye View Map of Malmesbury is exhibited in Market Lane. On Sunday there are two re-enactments of the last attack on Malmesbury in May 1644 by Colonel Nicholas Devereux's Regiment.
