About
This week Westonbirt Arboretum is holding three family activity days that are all about listening to nature around us.
Wednesday 5 August:
Jason Singh will be hosting this activity at Westonbirt, The National Arboretum to show you how to connect with the trees through their sound. He is a sound artist, nature beatboxer, producer, DJ, curator, facilitator, and performer. His life and work are deeply rooted in the art of listening. Jason will be running two types of activity on the day.
Prebook to avoid disappointment on the day. Activities will run at allocated timeslots throughout the day, with sessions suitable for different aged children. To book a place, included in the cost of admission, please email learning.westonbirt@forestryengland.uk
On Tuesday 4 and Thursday 6 of August
There will be other activities to take part in to discover Nature's Soundtrack, you can drop in anytime, no need to prebook, where Westonbirt's team will lead you in exploring the sounds of nature!
Suitable for children 5 years and upwards. No dogs allowed. This activity takes place under cover and moves out into the Old Arboretum.
