THE MAD HATTER'S TEA PARTY

The Merchant's house is delighted to offer the second of our afternnon classical piano concerts to delight and engage children and adults alike. The second concert is on a theme of Lewis Carroll's much loved characters from a tea party we'd all llike to have been part of, perhaps! The Mad Hatter's Tea Party: Kim Emery, local professional pianist, teacher and accompanist, will perform a selection of genres including pieces from "Alice in Wonderland" "Blue Skies" by I. Berlin, "Dance of the Reed Flutes", Tchaikovsky, "The Arrival of the Queen of Hearts(Sheba) by Handel and many others.

Children (and their accompanying adults!) are invited to come dressed in the theme of The Mad Hatter's Tea Party, there will be a prize for the best costume or hat design. During the interval you will be served refreshments on a mad tea party theme. Weather permitting this will be served in the Merchant's House, beautiful 17th century inspired garden.
