Set within the beautiful surroundings of Bowood House is this year’s Wiltshire Game & Country Fair. With main arena attractions running throughout the day, supported by a host of smaller country sports arena and workshops, as well as the very best activities and entertainment, it’s the perfect family day out!

Big Wild Weekend at Hawk Conservancy Trust
Head to Hawk Conservancy Trust for their Big Wild Weekend this month, a festival of British nature, showcasing the wonderful natural world right on our doorsteps. There’ll be extra activities throughout the day, special guests, birds in flight and much more!
If Opera
Join If Opera with an incredible 2026 programme celebrating 30 years! For this year’s event, If Opera will include Bizet’s Carmen and Straus’s The Chocolate Soldier in the secluded and peaceful venue of Church Farm in Trowbridge. On 16th August and bBringing the 30th anniversary celebrations to a joyful close, the Picnic Prom promises an unforgettable “Final Fling” evening celebrating the golden age of swing and jazz, led by the legendary Syd Lawrence Orchestra and the irresistible Marvin Muoneké Quartet.
Edington Music Festival
This years' theme at Edington Museum Festival, ‘The Tree of Life’, will explore the beauty of creation and growth with themes of seeds and roots, alongside the cyclical regeneration of decay, death and the wood of the cross. Summer Lates at The Roman Baths
Just outside the Wiltshire borders, be sure to head to The Roman Baths during after hours, for their annual Summer Lates event throughout this month. This event brings music, atmosphere and a relaxed evening buzz to one of the UK’s most iconic historic sites.
Following the success of last year’s live music, the Great Bath will once again be hosting vinyl DJ sets every Friday and Saturday, and live acoustic gigs every Sunday. The perfect way to explore the site by torchlight!
