Godot’s Restaurant, as it was known, was around for twenty years but has recently changed it’s name to No7 Bar, Kitchen & Rooms, however that is the only change that has occurred.
No7 Rooms remains the same cosy and inviting 17th Century eatery with its fabulous fireplace warming in winter and the
south facing terrace inviting and tranquil in summer.Lesley, the former owner of Godot’s, has remained to ensure the same atmosphere and welcome, so enjoyed by its customers, with her engaging and welcoming smile the usual friendly approach and good simple and traditional food will
no doubt endure for many years to come.
No7 is easily located just off the high street in Marlborough, not a minute’s walk from the town hall at the East End of the
high street. Open Wednesday – Saturday for lunch and dinner from 12-4 and 7-11 bookings welcome by telephone. No7 also offers three individual and quaint rooms with quirly oak beams and nooks and crannies and not a straight edge in sight. Each with ensuite bathroom and toilet and television and wifi access and are available at very competitive rates.
The rooms come with a continental breakfast of cereals, croissants and yoghurt, tea and coffee.
