About

Trade Product Information and Experiences:

The Old Bell Hotel has been welcoming travellers since 1220. This unique and historically significant property is the oldest purpose-built hotel in England. Refurbished in 2021, this Grade I listed property is the perfect blend of whimsical décor, beautiful antiques, and modern amenities.

The hotel's 34 rooms and 5 self-catering townhouses are all individually designed and furnished. The well-appointed rooms are equipped with luxury bathrobes, Dyson hair dryers and Bramley toiletries.

Canine companions are welcome in one of several dog-friendly rooms.

Relax in cozy corners and recline on comfy sofas in common areas featuring crackling log fires in winter and soak up the sun on our pretty terraces in the summer. Enjoy traditional English tea served in our intimate library. Visit The Tyger Bar for tiki-inspired cocktails and Mediterranean bites in an airy uplifting space with glass walls that are removed in summer. At Abbey Row, you’ll dine under 8,000 hand-painted gold stars. And don’t forget to arrange a visit to our adjacent Abbey House Manor Gardens, where a selection of our restaurants’ ingredients are grown.

Nestled in the market town of Malmesbury, this South Cotswold destination property is conveniently located adjacent to the 12th Century Abbey, one of the oldest and significant religious sites in England. It’s also a short walk to the famous Abbey House Manor Gardens. This cousin property is currently undergoing renovations, but gardens can be toured by groups with prior arrangements.

Master rooms, Junior Master, Classic, Character, Master Cosy and Cosy rooms are available.

Further information is available on request.
