Spring Study Series 2021.
The series of six Zoom lectures will be held each Thursday at 10am from Thursday 25th February. Michael Hart, Christopher Rogers and David Evans will each give two lectures on the theme of "The 19th Century".
Titles of the individual lectures are:
The 19th Century - "If you want things to stay as they are, things will have to change" (Michael Hart, 25th February)
The creed of progress and its critics (Michael Hart, 4th March)
The Pre-Raphaelites and Victorian Realism in Art (David Evans, 11th March)
The Victorians and the Art of the Imagination (David Evans, 18th March)
Christian Architecture for a Christian Society (Christopher Rogers, 25th March)
The Age of William Morris (Christopher Rogers, 1st April)
All lectures start at 10:00am and will last approximately one hour with Q&A.

£12 (£9 for Friends of The Merchant's House) cover both lectures by the same lecturer and are available to buy online via the Events page of The Merchant's House web site.
Each lecture will be given live online. You will need to access a password-protected Zoom Meeting online. After purchasing your ticket you will be sent an email with full details of exactly what you need to do. (You will receive an automatic confirmation email immediately after purchasing your ticket. The additional details will be sent to you during working hours as this has to be done manually).
Tickets will be available until 9:00pm on the day before each lecture.
