The National Trust’s gardens at Stourhead are located on the Wiltshire-Somerset border. Known for its spectacular display of Autumn colours, this site offers breath-taking views across its 18th century landscape garden. Reflected in the central lake, be sure to capture the deep red and golden scenes whilst enjoying cosy walks and discovering classical temples and hidden passageways throughout the grounds.
Savernake Forest
Located south east of Marlborough is the Savernake Forest; a Special Site of Scientific Interest and a great destination for Autumn lovers! Managed by the Forestry Commission, this forest has been well-kept with many veteran trees showing off their colours with red, brown and orange leaves. Langford Lakes

Bowood House and Gardens
Bowood is the magnificent family home of the Marquis and Marchioness of Lansdowne. The pleasure grounds cover approximately 100 acres, with formal gardens and terraces around the house; the building itself is set in the middle of Capability’ Brown’s grade 1 park. The gardens which form part of the parks 1760 design, contains an outstanding collection of trees and shrubs, all flourishing in rich colours during the Autumn months!
