This Easter, we’ve plenty of events to keep you and your family entertained over the Easter holidays.

In 2026, Easter Sunday is on Sunday 5th April.

Looking for some family-friendly Easter fun for the holidays? Plenty of the events below are aimed at children, with eggcellent arts and crafts activities! Or, take a look at where to go on an Easter egg hunt in Wiltshire for more inspiration.

Religious events at Easter

Salisbury Cathedral will be holding various services over the Holy Week.

Imber Church, which is now under the care of the Churches Conservation Trust usually have open days during the Easter period – a rare opportunity to visit the ‘lost’ village of Imber in the heart of Salisbury Plain.

Other events taking place during the Easter period

Why not visit Crofton Beam Engines for their Easter Steaming?

There will be theatrical performances at Wyvern Theatre in Swindon and Salisbury Playhouse in the south of the county too.
