Taste Wiltshire 2018 is an already established food festival that focuses entirely on working with local producers to promote their businesses within the county. Food Festivals have traditionally been a means of uniting communities through celebrations of harvests and giving thanks for a plentiful growing season, and this one will be no different. Perhaps just presented with a more modern twist!
Local food festivals are becoming increasingly vital to small businesses, and this annual event is no different, bringing together our independent food and drink suppliers whilst providing a platform to market their business.
Local small producers are becoming increasingly entrepreneurial in accessing the visitor and tourist economy which is vital for thriving and surviving. We have a strategic PR and social media campaign to support Taste Wiltshire ensuring we reach maximum footfall on the day.
There will a selection of different areas with individual stands including meat, cheese, bakery, dairy, confectionary, wine and spirits and much more. On the day there will also be live cookery demonstrations from some of Wiltshire’s finest chefs, as well as the opportunity for individual producers to show off their knife skills if they would like to! We want the event to appeal to families as well so there will be activities for children; from tractor rides to cake making and generally letting them get involved.
We want Taste Wiltshire to be the Festival people want to be at every year and to see it as an important date in their calendars, producers and visitors alike.
