Lacock Abbey
Any Harry Potter fans? Be sure to pay a visit to Lacock Abbey this half term where you can wonder the corridors and poke your head into the classrooms that featured in the famous film. As a quirky country house, developed over the centuries around a former 13th century nunnery, there’s plenty more history to uncover. Wonder the grounds and medieval cloisters before stepping foot in the neighbouring Fox Talbot Museum.
Bowood House and Gardens
