Blog (Autumn) - Visit Wiltshire

This year is passing us by as the first week of September is nearly upon us! Soon it will be the time of year where we start to get winter clothes out of the loft, brush off our welly boats and collect firewood for the colder nights ahead.

After the best summer that Wiltshire, and the UK, has seen for a while, the seasons are starting to change, the leaves will start turning into tremendous autumn colours and Wiltshire will soon be getting ready for autumn, which means wellies and cosy jumpers.  As a county we’re fortunate to have such a beautiful range of areas and events to showcase autumn at its best. 

I love this time of year, especially the leaves falling from the trees mainly because I’ve been told, and still believe, that if you catch one and make a wish it will come true!
