Marvellous May! May brings warmth and colour back into lives again and here a few things you can do in Wiltshire to celebrate Spring and usher in the summer months. 

Although Salisbury is an amazing city with a fascinating history, there is lots to explore in the area nearby too. Take a look at some of the prettiest villages in the local area and take inspiration for some great days out.

Easter isn't complete without a competitive Easter egg hunt involving all the family. Across Wiltshire you will find family friendly events happening during the Easter break as well as some fantastic places where you can enjoy and Easter Egg Hunt. 

Despite being late this year, Easter is now fast approaching. Salisbury will look as beautiful as ever with the spring flowers in full bloom and no doubt lots of newly-born animals and birds about. 

On Sunday 24 March, the Visit Salisbury team, along with Declan from Instagrammers Wiltshire (@Igerswiltshire on Instagram) hosted another Salisbury instameet, after the successful one held in the summer last year.

In this latest blog post Pip Browning from The Stables at Manor Farm reveals the moment she realised 'just what we have on our doorstep' in Wiltshire, and describes perfectly the history of Wiltshire and why you should visit today.

Hayley's favourite part about the role is seeing all the wonderful animals every day and working with a  great team of keepers. The Park is a beautiful place to work and to see all the different species everyday, in such beautiful surroundings, is a joy.

Last weekend Alex White (@alexwhite_21) took over our Instagram account with his own personal account on how photography in Wiltshire has helped him get through some difficult times. 

On the first weekend of March we had another fantastic Instagram takeover with Steph, and her two spaniels, Sev & Lily. Steph runs a dog friendly lifestyle blog @spaniellife and living in Wiltshire enjoys exploring dog friendly places altogether.
