During this tour you learn about the 150 million year-old Jurassic limestone and how it is used for conservation and construction for the remarkable Salisbury Cathedral. For me, it was fascinating to finally learn about the reasons behind the restoration process after seeing Salisbury Cathedral go through many stages of building repairs.  

This June, Wiltshire Wildlife Trust (WWT) are encouraging people to get wild and reconnect to nature as part of the national 30 Days Wild campaign.

There’s nothing more refreshing than the arrival of spring! As colour and warmth come back into our lives, here are a few things you can get up to in Wiltshire to celebrate spring and the beginnings of summer.

We are extremely fortunate in Wiltshire to have some fantastic places to eat and drink. As well as enjoying locally sourced produce you can allow your palate to be infused with flavours from Mediterranean, Italy, the Middle East and more.

There’s always a project on, whether it’s planting a new wild flower area, or writing a blog on how best to spot otters whilst staying in one of our log cabins!
