Summer is on it's way and there are plenty of things to do across Wiltshire in June. 

The days are long and the nights short, what better time to come and visit Salisbury than in midsummer. There’s plenty to see and do in and around our city during June but here are some of the highlights that you might like to come along to…

We know that with so many holidays close together it’s difficult to plan activities for all the family to enjoy.  So, if you have nothing organised as yet, we have put together some ideas to help you feel inspired and make time for Wiltshire.

As the spring months continue, May will hopefully bring with it warmer weather and plenty of opportunities to get out and about exploring Salisbury and the surrounding area. Although Salisbury is an amazing city with a fascinating history, there is lots to explore in the area nearby too. Take a look at some of the prettiest villages in the local area and take inspiration for some great days out.

Easter isn't complete without a competitive Easter egg hunt involving all the family. Across Wiltshire you will find family friendly events happening during the Easter break as well as some fantastic places where you can enjoy and Easter Egg Hunt. 

Despite being late this year, Easter is now fast approaching. Salisbury will look as beautiful as ever with the spring flowers in full bloom and no doubt lots of newly-born animals and birds about. 

On Sunday 24 March, the Visit Salisbury team, along with Declan from Instagrammers Wiltshire (@Igerswiltshire on Instagram) hosted another Salisbury instameet, after the successful one held in the summer last year.
